25-Square Miles Surrounded By Reality
I live in Boulder, Colorado – fondly referred to as The People’s Republic of Boulder or The Boulder Bubble. The New York Times once described our little mountain town as “25-square miles surrounded by reality“.
We win so many awards – I’m starting to lose count. Gallup named us the “Happiest, Healthiest, and Most Well-Educated City in America”, Bon Appétit called us “America’s Foodiest Town”, and according to USA Today we have the #1 Farmer’s Market in America. Yet, despite our love of food – Boulder is also “America’s Least Obese City”. Which might explain why GQ Magazine declared us “The Worst Dressed City that Looks Best Naked”.
