Yesterday, at around a quarter past 4, Sloane told me it was time for me to stop working. She said, “It’s a beautiful day, and we’re missing it. Let’s go out for a walk”. And so we did.
We decided to walk to Downtown Ballard and checkout the Seafood Festival. And it was important to leave a bit early, because according to Sloane, “We need to leave time for an adventure”. Isn’t it interesting how rarely we carve the space for adventure in our everyday lives?
And we did have an adventure. We even ran into an old friend thanks to the power of technology. And I can’t help but think how much better off the world would be, if we all remembered to always leave room for adventure.
