For 2010 I’m starting a new tradition. As of January 1st – I’m wiping out all past transgressions. I’m letting go of all of my anger. I’m practicing RADICAL FORGIVENESS towards others and towards myself.
The truth is – I don’t have time to be angry or to bare grudges. I don’t have the available mental space anymore. I have too much I want to do and accomplish this year. And I can’t have anything holding me back.
My life is REMARKABLE. I get to spend my time “Livin’ The Dream”. My wish is that everyone I’ve ever known or ever met will have that same opportunity.
So here’s to starting over with a clean slate!
UPDATE: My Twitter Thoughts On This Post
Here’s the deal. Anything I was mad about last year – water under the bridge. Anyone I was angry with – I Let It Go. #RadicalForgiveness
If you and I fought this past year – and you’re wondering if this means you – it does. I’ve forgiven everyone, everything. #StartFresh
Most importantly – I’ve forgiven myself. http://bit.ly/7CaYEh #RadicalForgiveness #StartFresh

Thank you so much for your series of year end posts, Erica. As always, but with this one especially, you hit the nail on the head & bring me so much joy/reflection! Thanks a zillion times over for being the most fantastic blogger evar! Hope to see you again during sxsw.

Thank you so much for sending this to me. It was the perfect thing to change my mindset right now. You are an incredible woman & I am so privileged to know you. *HUGS*
Forgiveness distinguishes humans from animals. We should do it more. I'm forgiving you for misusing "bare" in "bare a grudge." We bear grudges. Quite a different image than bare. But anyway, forgiven.
To be honest I was mad at you. When I watched you on blogcatalog's attempt at Ustream I was pissed at your attitude like WE didn't get it and you were this so exclusive type

After working hard and not getting caught up in what other people were doing I kept working and now I don't have to sweat anyone and wish you only the best
I hope to actually meet you one day so you can smack me and we can be friends
Happy New Year from San Antonio Peace
