Best of 2009: Best New Person

Do you believe in Magic?  I do.  I believe that if we want something badly enough.  If we hope for something long enough – we can have it.  We can literally will it into our lives.

Three years ago I bought a book that changed my life.  I started giving copies of this book to everyone who was important to me.  Key quotes and phrases became a standing inside joke between my friend Mark and me (incidentally I bought the first copy for him).  I always wondered what it would be like to meet the authors – and to talk to them about how much of an impact their ideas had made on my life.  But I was too shy to contact them.

I never imagined that one of those authors would become one of my dearest friends.  But that’s exactly what happened.

Hank Wasiak is the Bestselling Author of Change The Way You See Everything Through Asset-Based Thinking (as well as 3 other books in the series), 5 time Emmy Award Winning Host of Back On The Block, one of the original founder’s of The Concept Farm, and my friend.

The number one lesson he taught me this year is that “We SEE What We LOOK For”.

Wow. I am honored and humbled to be included in this series. You have also been a best person for me this year. You welcomed me into your world, inspired me with your knowledge, creativity and resilience and most of all, you help lift my spirits whenever we "chat" (live, on twitter, skype, whatever)

Your Twilight and Tea project is brilliant and perfect for you…and it will definitely be fulfilling your single word mantra for 2010. Adventure.

Thanks again for including me in your life.

Hank
