I wish I could say there was a standout Album of 2009 that really blew me away. But the truth is that while I liked a lot of individual songs – I don’t think I could pick out a full album for this year. So – how about a compilation of my favorite songs (both new and old) that I discovered or rediscovered this past year.
- Let’s start with my Life Theme Song from 2009 – Live Like You Were Dying. Totally Awesome Song.
- Taylor Swift. I love her. I hate her for being so talented AND beautiful. My favorite song from the lovely Ms. Swift – Our Song.
- Having a Great Pick Me Up Song – Is always important. I Give You Proud by Heather Small.
- Okay – whether you loved White Chicks or hated it – Vanessa Carlton’s A Thousand Miles is still rocking my world.
- We all love Reba. And I’ll always love Fancy.
- And finally – I’ve already picked my Life Theme Song for 2010 – U2’s Don’t Stop Believing.
