Happy Thanksgiving!

Dear Friends,

In a month I’ll be packing up my home and putting all of my things into storage.  For the first time in my life I won’t have a permanent space to call my own.  I won’t have a permanent address.  I’m scared.

But then I remember all of you.  And the years we’ve spent together.  And I know that one thing in my life will always be permanent – You.  No matter how much changes in my life – there will always be amazing people like You in the world.  People who defy conventions and believe in the impossible – who honestly want to change the world and in many cases already have.

Over the last year you’ve let me stay at your Beach house and sponsored my trip to Boulder, you’ve coached me on my writing and helped me get published.  You’ve let me crash in your hotel room, and helped me clean out my house after my break up.  You’ve called me just to say I’m “Awesome” and you’ve taken me to get a manicure when I’m sad.  You’ve supported my ideas – even the crazy ones.  And you’ve let me cry on your shoulder when I’ve failed.  You have gotten me through a lot of FIRSTS.  Every time I’ve expressed doubt – you’ve reminded me of all I’ve accomplished.  And once you asked me to marry you via direct message on Twitter.  You’ve invited me into your homes and your hearts – and you’ve never let me feel like I’ve overstayed my welcome.  You are wonderful.  I am lucky and grateful to call you my friends.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Love,
-E

This sounds like a theme amongst friends. I moved out of my place and am semi-homeless too. Taking the adventure like waves on the sea and not missing the joy either. Good on ya:)
