The Awesome Folks over at BlogCatalog are at it again - they are working to change the world!  Why not join them!!!

“Refugees United provides families that have lost contact with their loved ones during escape from conflict an anonymous, global forum to reconnect. Endless thousands of families are torn apart, often never to find each other again.

For the Refugees United project to succeed, it is necessary that people rally behind the cause and use their everyday communication skills to ensure the marginalized are made aware of the family-finding possibility.

In reality, what bars refugees from reconnecting with loved ones is simply information. A lack thereof. By forwarding this text, we are all contributing to change and to help those in search of loved ones discover this new possibility.”

I Have Blogger's Block
I was chatting with my friend Laura Mayes tonight - explaining how I have Blogger’s Block.  Tomorrow I head to San Francisco - and I’ve already stocked up on awesome reading materials for the plane - including the Complete Works of Jane Austen and Katharine Hepburn’s Autobiography.  Laura’s advice:

The best way to get out of a block is to read good writing.

And to go to Northern California.

Check. And Check.

Link Policy

My personal link policy is as follows - I only link to the blogs of people I actually know in real life (with the exception of the "Other Erica's" section). I think when you add someone to your blogroll there should be real meaning attached. Most of the people I link to are not only acquaintances - but folks I am lucky enough to call my friends.
