I’m Off To BIL

TED is a little out of my price range - but BIL fits nicely in my budget (i.e. it’s FREE). Plus, I get to peak across the parking lot at all the “beautiful people” at TED. Seriously, if you are in the Monterey California area this weekend - stop by BIL - I’d love to meet you.
What is BIL? Booze, Intellectuals, & Learning

When? March 1st & 2nd
Why? Because new traditions are cool too! Did I mention that we’ve got some TEDsters stopping by to speak at our event? Really - you shouldn’t miss this.

I just found out that TED was $6K. I tweeted about this last night. It’s disappointing that such an inspiring conference could charge so much money and by doing so leaves out many great thinkers who simply can’t afford those prices. Have a great time in Monterey.
