Day 6: Fitness – Failure – FANTASTICness

Fitness
Surprisingly - I LOVE WORKING OUT - I always have. For me - it’s always just a matter of time (or lack there of). For a while I was making time early in the morning - working out with my lovely personal trainer Sarah. Now I’m taking some Yoga, Step Aerobics, Tai Chi classes and swimming. I enjoy activities that last no more than 90 minutes and that allow me to clear my head. Kind of the equivalent of that trusted GTD System - but for my body.
Failure
Where I always fail on my weight loss journey has to do with FOOD - or more importantly my associations with food. If I’m sad I eat (and I eat a lot). But if I’m happy I eat too. I eat to celebrate, to medicate, to socialize, and even to compromise. I have lunch meetings weekly - so staying on a diet is REALLY tough. But lately…
FANTASTICness
FANTASTICness of all FANTASTICness I am less hungry than ever before. And I don’t eat to medicate - and I haven’t been eating fast food - and I’ve been stopping well before I’m full…and I’ve been losing weight and keeping it off. I’d like to talk more here about what changes I’ve made - and why I think for once I’m finding the strength to stop the madness. But that will come in later posts. For now - I’d just like to thank you all for your encouragement.
