The BIG MOO Moment

August 9th, 2007  |  Published in Uncategorized  |  2 Comments

I have this morning ritual - it’s kinda silly when I say it out loud - but I call it The BIG MOO Moment. It consists of reading a chapter from (you guessed it) - The BIG MOO. The BIG MOO was written by the Group of 33 - which includes fellow BarCamp Enthusiast & friend Amit Gupta (among other notorious names). I remember learning about this book almost a year ago - but it wasn’t until just recently that I finally bought it.

The BIG MOO - is about being REMARKABLE. It echoes my life motto - “Progress Not Perfection”.

I love this ritual - and even when I get to the end of the book - I have no doubt that I will just start from the beginning again. What rituals do you have?

    Hey Erica,
I love that book and get a jolt of energy every time I read from it. It’s like a little prayer book. A prayer to being our most fabulous every moment of every day. I think you more than read it…you LIVE it. Thanks for inspiring us!!

I Have Blogger's Block
I was chatting with my friend Laura Mayes tonight - explaining how I have Blogger’s Block.  Tomorrow I head to San Francisco - and I’ve already stocked up on awesome reading materials for the plane - including the Complete Works of Jane Austen and Katharine Hepburn’s Autobiography.  Laura’s advice:

The best way to get out of a block is to read good writing.

And to go to Northern California.

Check. And Check.
