WHAT HAPPENED TO MY SITE?

April 5th, 2007  |  Published in Misc.  |  7 Comments

I bet you’re all scratching your heads and wondering what gives? Ah - allow me to enlighten you. Today is CSS Naked Day — this is the day that we strip off our stylesheets and show our sites as the gods of machines intended. Plain black text on white backgrounds. So welcome to my site as the world would see it without the beauty of CSS.

Oh — and just had to link this.  THE only reason I would ever buy a copy of .NET Magazine:

First time at your site and I come on CSS Naked Day. :D

I guess I will have to wait until tomorrow to see what you’re site really looks like. :)

You look so … naked. ;-) I wonder how my blog would look stripped. I might have to try it out tonight.

Ah — that’s not .NET Magazine - it’s Practical Web Design — and I so already bought it. Matt’s just so *dreamy*. LOL And look how cute you look showing him ‘himself’ in that magazine :)

To help your google ranking, you must comment on my site often, and link to me as “Christine”. You know, in case you were wondering.

It isn’t midnight yet, and you are all dressed up again. Now I miss the plain jane site. ;-)

I Have Blogger's Block
I was chatting with my friend Laura Mayes tonight - explaining how I have Blogger’s Block.  Tomorrow I head to San Francisco - and I’ve already stocked up on awesome reading materials for the plane - including the Complete Works of Jane Austen and Katharine Hepburn’s Autobiography.  Laura’s advice:

The best way to get out of a block is to read good writing.

And to go to Northern California.

Check. And Check.
