Flathicks in Wikipedia???

This year Jon Hicks could not make it to SXSWi — so his dear friend and Geek Crush Glenda Sims constructed this cute little cut out. Now it looks like Flathicks has his own page in Wikipedia…

Flathicks certainly made the rounds this year at SXSWi — on this particular day we took Flathicks to lunch at Hickory Street Café on Congress Ave.

By the way — that’s Michael Whalen (aka Whalesalad) pictured with me. I dig guys who love pink ;)

Hey look its me, you, and flathicks! I had an awesome time down in Texas thanks to you, I’m definitely going to be checking out the local LA area Barcamps too!

Thanks for the comment on my site, I was getting a little confused by all the responses as well. As you said, it isn’t really a question of the “Brand” but the amount of time and effort in relation to the actual end result.

We need to stay in touch! Do you have AIM?

I Have Blogger's Block
I was chatting with my friend Laura Mayes tonight - explaining how I have Blogger’s Block.  Tomorrow I head to San Francisco - and I’ve already stocked up on awesome reading materials for the plane - including the Complete Works of Jane Austen and Katharine Hepburn’s Autobiography.  Laura’s advice:

The best way to get out of a block is to read good writing.

And to go to Northern California.

My personal link policy is as follows - I only link to the blogs of people I actually know in real life (with the exception of the "Other Erica's" section). I think when you add someone to your blogroll there should be real meaning attached. Most of the people I link to are not only acquaintances - but folks I am lucky enough to call my friends.
