Wow — today was certainly a whirlwind — with as many highs as lows. So — what’s happening in Design this week?
Tomorrow night Social Media Club meets in Austin — however if you haven’t already pre-registered — you’ll be wait listed. It’s quite the popular event ;) Organized by Web and Marketing personality Connie Reece — it’s sure to be a stellar event. I’m tentatively planning to be there if space opens up

Erica, is this a blatant attempt at flattery in an effort to get yourself on the A-list? LOL
We knew there would be a lot of interest in Social Media Club, but those 50 seats went a lot faster than even I imagined - and I kept telling all the skeptics we would fill the place. Call me around lunchtime tomorrow, and I’ll let you know if any spots have opened up.
And even if they haven’t, let’s still plan to get together soon, okay? We’ve got a great program lined up for SMCAustin for the end of March, and I plan on checking out Barcamp Austin during SXSW. See ya!

LOL — I’m actually very interested in seeing how Social Media Club develops. I spoke to a couple people here in Houston today that I thought might be good candidates to head up a Houston Chapter of The Social Media Club. I would do it myself — except I’m a little overextended these days
