Matt redesigns Photomatt.net <-- Looking good matty ;) I have to admit...for a minute I thought I was at the wrong site. It's been a while since that sites been totally redesigned.

I (yes, me)...won 3rd Place in the Formula One division of the AIR Houston Website Accessibility Contest (Knowbility.org) It was an amazing experience for me, and I look forward to participating again next year. Also, special thanks to Kisha Thompson and Lonnie Mitner who stepped in at the last minute to be a part of the Creativerse team. Yes…I did the bulk of the coding and entire design myself…and yes it’s been said I was a one woman team….however, Lonnie was responsible for the Print Style sheet (which was probably why we won), and Kisha helped us stay organized and on task. I couldn’t have done it without them. Thanks so much guys…and get blogs so I can link to you ;)

Phones: I’m losing interest in the Blackberry 8700c…and am thinking of upgrading to the new Blackjack. It’s too soon to tell, but it looks like a nice smaller alternative to the 8700c.

Jon Resig recently wrote an article on his blog detailing how one clever blogger side stepped comment spam by using Flickr’s API. I think this was one of the coolest articles in my feeds all week. Incidently, Jon is one of the people I would most like to recruit to BarCampDallas the third weekend in January…and if we can’t get him there…I’ll try my best to get him to BarCampAustin during South by Southwest Interactive. As a fan of jQuery…I would love to have him present and get the opportunity to pick his brain ;)

I Have Blogger's Block
I was chatting with my friend Laura Mayes tonight - explaining how I have Blogger’s Block.  Tomorrow I head to San Francisco - and I’ve already stocked up on awesome reading materials for the plane - including the Complete Works of Jane Austen and Katharine Hepburn’s Autobiography.  Laura’s advice:

The best way to get out of a block is to read good writing.

And to go to Northern California.

Check. And Check.

My personal link policy is as follows - I only link to the blogs of people I actually know in real life (with the exception of the "Other Erica's" section). I think when you add someone to your blogroll there should be real meaning attached. Most of the people I link to are not only acquaintances - but folks I am lucky enough to call my friends.
