For as long as I can remember, I have kept a book of quotes. Recently, I also started carrying a moleskin with me everywhere I go (to keep track of great ideas). Now, I think I’ll keep those great ideas to myself for now, but I would like to share with you some of my favorite quotes:
“The Worst loneliness is not to be comfortable with yourself.” ~Mark Twain
“I care not so much what I am to others as what I am to myself.” ~Michel Eyquem de Montaigne
“Whether you believe you can do a thing or not, you are right.” ~Henry Ford
“It is never too late to be what you might have been.” ~George Elliot
“Treat a man as he is, and he will remain as he is. Treat a man as he could be, and he will become what he should be.” ~Ralph Waldo Emerson
“What you risk reveals what you value.” ~Jeanette Winterson
“Wisdom begins in wonder.” ~Socrates
“A man’s errors are his portals of discovery.” ~James Joyce
“Doubt is uncomfortable, certainty is ridiculous.” ~Voltaire
“It takes a long time to become young.” ~Pablo Picasso
